Assist. Prof. Dr. Samson Gebremedhin GEBRESELASSIE

Dr. Samson Gebremedhin holds a PhD degree in the field of Public Health from Addis Ababa University Ethiopia. Currently he is serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health, Hawassa University. Samson provided consultancy services to several international organizations including UNICEF, Nutrition International, GTZ, Alive and Thrive Ethiopia, Emory University – Ethiopia and John Snow, Inc. So far he has published more than 30 original articles in reputable international and national journals. His research focus area is on Maternal and Child Nutrition. Especially he is interested in the epidemiology of nutritional anemia and zinc and vitamin A deficiencies.
